Nice :)

This is an awesome piece, even though it is a little a repetitive. I liked the beat, the melody, yet though the drums [except the 909 snare drumroll] are a little too quiet for the name of the song [or it may be just me, as I am not playing music too loud 'cause it would disturb my little bro] :)
Other than that, awesome :)
9/10, 5/5

8/10 :)

[This is a remix of Children by Robert Miles, BTW]

I like it. The piano had a nice, ambient feel. The pad, the strings and the arp were awesome too. What I'd change is the drums. They are kind of too quiet IMO.

For a first submission this is quite kickass.

Also, I guess this is called chillout. Epic chillout.

It doesn't sound generic at all for a first submission. (while 'usual' first submissions are boom-tss-clap-tss-boom-tss-clap-tss and then everything gets ruined by overdriven bass) Good quality, melodies, drums. I liked the piano.

What do you use for making music? FL, Reason, Cubase? Something else?

z0di4c responds:

I used FL Studio 7 XXL Producer Edition with a whole lot of plug ins and samples, I EQ'ed it in Sony Sound Forge 9

...great ;)

I like it :)

Kinda reminds me of ParagonX9's songs (short+breakbeatish). The synths are nice, the drums are OK too, hm :) IMO could be even better if it was extended.

...btw, what program did ya use?

paranoiddj001 responds:

I used Dance eJay 7. Thanks for the review

Pretty nice.

I like it!

The quality is good, the beat is nice too, but the best part of this song is definitely the lead.

And the cons... The beginning was weird, the 'whzee' synth thing at the end was kind of wack and the simple chime at the real end... God, that fucking destroyed it. ;(

But other than that, it's nice. A 7 from me.

godset responds:

The whole song is supposed to be like a boss fight in a video game. The "weird" intro is an alarm like you'd hear in Darius before the boss appears, the "whzee" is a kind of circuits-overloading-explosion-immine nt thing, and the chime at the end was old school Final Fantasy victory music...

They all had their purposes.

Relaxing. And I like vanilla ;)

Maybe I'm not listening in too often, but those days I don't hear acid in relaxing tracks too often. So tis' a rare one ;)

Nice use of the Toilings effect or whatever it was. It made me not sleep but be relaxed. <lol>

bahstrike responds:

thanks dil, no idea what the toilings effect is though, or whether or not i used it =)

HOMG GREAT. 8D

This is one of the better... No, one of the best songs I've heard. ^^

The reeverb on the melody and the saw made the 'I'm in space' feeling. 8D

The drums were also great.

So, you get a 10 from me. 8D

Check out my audio! ^^

DJ-SkiLLz responds:

thanks man will do

Trashy crashy 'n nice.

Yeah, was trashy-crashy 'n nice. Pretty heavy, and yep, kinda shy cymbals on there.

Liked the distortion. Also, nice crash samples. >:]

DSMagnum responds:

Heh, thanks. This was my first work with drums.

As I said about the cymbals before, they were slightly cut off. :(

Glad you liked.

First review, Omega.

Doesn't work, Omega. Seriously. I can't say if I like it or not if I can't hear it.

OmegaLatios responds:

I don't know how to make these things work... x_x

More reverb, but it's great.

You need more reverb, but it's a good song nevertheless.

Reminds me of Rockman.EXE (MegaMan Battle Network) songs. It's nice.

Your final score from me is... 9!
