nice ;D

good stuff, I dig the bass, drums and the sweeps :) the saw pads could have a bit less SHHH though, tone down the high freqs a bit on them :P

DJ-VIZ responds:

Yeah, I see what you mean...thanks for the rev.!

Awesome. Great use of the amen break, surprisingly melodic :3, but that reese needs moar RAWRRRR (perhaps moar mids? :3). Sweet track anyway, faved :D

TheComet responds:

raaawg why the hell havn't I ever heard the term "Reese" before?! D: pm me man I have no idea what a reese is xD

edit: nvm just figured it out XD

woah... chilling!

Awesome simple tune. :) If you added some delay on the master, it'd be dub. If you added some reverb on the master... no, lots of it, it'd be chillout. It's still awesome :) check out my newest one... the ARiP2 remix.

vai90 responds:

Lol, thx and okay, I will. :)

Awesome. Could be longer though :)

Awesome song. Kind of reminds me of Pendulum. Nice beat, not repetitive at all for me, the movie vocals are great, just the drums are a bit too quiet. It would be nice if you did an extended version of this. :)

ps. check out my newest song :)

SeamlessR responds:

Pendulum was actually quite a large inspiration for this song ;p

consider yourself checked!

nice :D

awesome tune. what I'd change... uh... the hats. dnc_hat1.wav anyone? or it is just me. anyway they sound too common, I'd change them to a 909 open hat or layer some VEC and VEE hats. also i liked the arps :)

DjZombAid responds:

Thanks =].
Hah, yep standard for me. That wasn't a major detail so i was leaving that for the end. It was mainly the structure of the song and how it flowed, rather then the samples.. but thanks =P.
Thanks again and cheers on the first review.

-Aidan.

For a first submission this is quite kickass.

Also, I guess this is called chillout. Epic chillout.

It doesn't sound generic at all for a first submission. (while 'usual' first submissions are boom-tss-clap-tss-boom-tss-clap-tss and then everything gets ruined by overdriven bass) Good quality, melodies, drums. I liked the piano.

What do you use for making music? FL, Reason, Cubase? Something else?

z0di4c responds:

I used FL Studio 7 XXL Producer Edition with a whole lot of plug ins and samples, I EQ'ed it in Sony Sound Forge 9

...great ;)

I like it :)

Kinda reminds me of ParagonX9's songs (short+breakbeatish). The synths are nice, the drums are OK too, hm :) IMO could be even better if it was extended.

...btw, what program did ya use?

paranoiddj001 responds:

I used Dance eJay 7. Thanks for the review

Pretty nice.

I like it!

The quality is good, the beat is nice too, but the best part of this song is definitely the lead.

And the cons... The beginning was weird, the 'whzee' synth thing at the end was kind of wack and the simple chime at the real end... God, that fucking destroyed it. ;(

But other than that, it's nice. A 7 from me.

godset responds:

The whole song is supposed to be like a boss fight in a video game. The "weird" intro is an alarm like you'd hear in Darius before the boss appears, the "whzee" is a kind of circuits-overloading-explosion-immine nt thing, and the chime at the end was old school Final Fantasy victory music...

They all had their purposes.
